1998, SITKA, ALASKA Omega One started with the belief that there was a better way. A better way to feed fish. A better way to do business. Fueled by that vision in their home garage, two brothers created the process of making fish foods with whole seafood. A brand was born, and with it, a company built on the values of family, quality, and American ingenuity.

While we remain the experts in aquatic nutrition, Omega One now offers a wider range of aquatic solutions than ever before including flakes, pellets, wafers, freeze dried, and frozen food. As a company, we promise to continue developing innovative aquatic products with the same integrity and high standards on which our company was founded.
Process
We take the quality of our products very seriously. That's why we make our fish foods in a patented process with quality ingredients that provide a high level of nutrients without artificial flavors. Go ahead, compare our ingredients to any other fish food - the difference will be clear!
The most important step in our unique manufacturing process is our sourcing of whole seafood from the USA. Our salmon comes from the remote coastline of Southeast Alaska, the hub of a rich commercial fishing network.
Next, our whole seafood ingredients are flash frozen to retain nutrients and quality.
Ingredients are transported in frozen containers to our USDA approved facility in Missouri.
Whole seafood is combined with essential vitamins in our patented process.

We believe that healthy diets are those that recreate the natural diets of fish in the wild. Diets rich in whole seafood and premium ingredients such as kelp, garlic, and spirulina. Our diets have less starch additives because the binder that holds the food together is the once-cooked proteins themselves. The result is a high level of fresh marine proteins and fats - an amount and quality closely resembling that found in a natural aquatic environment.
